School Business Manager
Job Description
Contract: Term Time, 40 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
Salary: G Point 26-29 FTE £36,124-£38,626 (based on experience)
Job Start Date: 10th February 2024
We are seeking to appoint a skilled and efficient School Business Manager to join our team. This is a varied and interesting role, as the business manager has responsibility for managing and operating the administrative, personnel, financial, health & safety and premises functions of the school with support from the school administrator. The ideal candidate will need:
- Substantial relevant work experience in managing finances, personnel, health and safety and premises maintenance
- Excellent IT skills and use of SIMS, CPOMs and School Money is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Excellent spoken, written and communication skills and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and organisation
- To be able to work as a member of a team and support the day to day running of a busy school office assisting in a range of clerical and administrative duties
- A high level of flexibility and the ability to prioritise your workload, multi-task and work to deadlines
- To be patient, calm and tactful, always ensuring confidentiality
