Teaching Assistant

Salary: Grade D - FTE £25,992 - £28,624 (actual £17,339 - £19,095)

Contract: 28.83 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for working with children, particularly those with special educational needs. Be able to engage with sometimes complex children, encouraging social interaction, developing independence, self-esteem, and encouraging all individuals to achieve their goals.

You will be flexible about working with children of all ages from Reception to Year 11. This presents the opportunity to work in a variety of settings in the school and work with pupils with a variety of needs.

Recent training has included PACE/attachment trauma, Makaton, rebound therapy, Read, Write Inc, speech and language and sensory integration.
