Full Time Teachers
Salary: MPS1 or 2 (Temporary due to budget constraints)
Thornbury is a happy, thriving school, with a rich curriculum and a commitment to wellbeing as a school community. Last summer we won the TES national award for pupil wellbeing. We have wonderful children who are ready to learn and have good relationships with each other and staff. We also host the Speech and Language specialist provision for the city.
Required for September 2024 onwards, until 31/08/2025 due to staffing changes, and maternity, a selection of teaching posts:
Warm hearted, dedicated teachers required. We are looking for teachers who can create a positive classroom environment, convey a strong teacher presence, and able to craft learning so that all children make good or better progress, despite any barriers to learning. You must enjoy working in a team, as we are an open plan school, so there is much collaboration and support from the wider team. We expect you to be a reflective and resilient practitioner, who is keen to progress in their career, able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
