Salary: £24,000
Hours: Full time, Permanent

School for Inspiring Talents (SfIT) is keen to appoint two engaging Sports Teachers/Coaches with a passion for getting active and helping children experience the outdoors in ways that enhance their physical and mental health. You will nurture our unique cohort of students; engaging and inspiring them to overcomes barriers and set high expectations.
We currently have two school sites in Devon (Newton Abbot and Ashburton) and would like to employ a Sports Coach to lead sessions on each. It is likely, one will work with our younger students, the other older – however this is flexible based on the skill sets of applicants.
You will be proactive, resilient, and committed to striving for excellence, putting our students first. Our ideal candidate is someone who will understand the relational and therapeutic approach we take in supporting our students, always remaining professionally curious and knowing that behaviour is communication. You will also understand the need for our students to take part and have a go - thinking creatively about what you would want to offer be that climbing, canoeing etc. We are committed to training candidates who do not hold the right qualifications for these outdoor activities.
This vacancy has come about due to our school becoming part of Outcomes First Group and having the ability to expand.
