Hours: 37 hours x 39 weeks per year

‍Salary: Grade E, pt 15 - 20 £29,093 - £31,586 FTE per annum, Actual: £25,089 - £27,254 per annum

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician with a passion for science.

The Lead Science Technician will be responsible for preparing & maintaining equipment & materials for practical science lessons, managing stock levels & ensuring that experiments run smoothly & safely. They will line manage other science technicians, assisting with task allocations & provide support & assistance on the practical aspects of the curriculum.

The successful candidate should be well organised & have the ability to lead on health & safety regulations pertinent to the classroom including handling chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations & CLEAPPS guidelines.
