As the EYFS Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a high-quality, inclusive EYFS curriculum tailored to the unique needs of each child. You will manage a team of passionate support staff, collaborate with parents and external agencies, and drive improvements to ensure the best possible outcomes for our youngest learners. Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions document
- Meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
- Lead by example through exceptional teaching and leadership
Take lead responsibility for the EYFS to secure:
- The development and implementation of the EYFS curriculum
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of EYFS provision
- Managing a team of EYFS staff, providing guidance and professional development
- Fostering a supportive, creative, and inclusive learning environment
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices
- Planning and delivering high-quality, adaptive lessons to learners with severe learning difficulties
Qualifications and Experience:
- QTS or equivalent, with recent EYFS training
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Proven experience in leading EYFS settings and/or special education
- A passion for working with children with SEND
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support a team
