NJC Grade C, Point 5 – 7, 30 hours per week x 42 weeks (Split shift 5-8am & 4-7pm - negotiable) £23,500 - £24,294 pro rata (actual £17,646 - £18,242) pay award pending
We are looking to recruit an exceptional Cleaning Supervisor who will oversee our cleaning team ensuring our premises are cleaned to the highest standard.
This role is a vital one to ensure the smooth running of the cleaning services here at Tor Bridge. The main elements of the role are to ensure all areas are covered adequately as well as ensuring the standards of work are maintained to the current high level. Part of this role will also be to carry out cleaning duties in your specified area of the school.
Cleaning services form part of our cross-phase partnership working with Cann Bridge School and Tor Bridge High sharing superb facilities on one site. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a pro-active, strategic approach to the leadership of a committed cleaning team.
We are looking for a colleague who has:
- a proven track record of team supervision or a willingness to train to develop this
- excellent communication skills with both staff and external contractors
- excellent skills in planning and organisation
- the desire to develop professionally in this role
