Teaching Assistant
Job Description
Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only
Salary: Scale C1, £22,070 per annum Pro Rata, £11.44 per hour
Contract: Fixed, 1 year, initially with strong potential to extend for the right candidate
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who has either experience of working with children, particularly those with additional needs (SEND), within the primary school age range OR for someone who might not yet have this direct experience but has relevant experience in working with children in a different context. The start date is negotiable and although full-time is preferred, part-time hours will be considered.
The job will be doing a mixture of 1-to-1 support and supporting teaching and learning in class and groups.
The school is committed to safeguarding children. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check, successful references and online checks.
