Parent Support

At Plymouth Learning Partnership (PLP), we deeply value the well-being and development of every child and family within our community. We believe in creating strong, supportive relationships with schools to ensure the best possible outcomes for your children.

If you are looking for support for your child, please contact your school.

Our approach to supporting your family

1

Collaborating with schools

PLP works directly with schools to identify and provide the support needed for families and children. This collaborative approach allows us to tailor our services to the unique needs of each school community.

2

How support reaches you

While we work closely with schools, we do not have a direct line of communication with families. It is through the schools that our services are coordinated and delivered. This ensures that the support provided is integrated seamlessly into your child’s educational environment.

3

Building relationships

Once a relationship between your child’s school and PLP is established, we are able to offer a range of services to children and families. This includes support for learning, family wellbeing, and access to specialized training and resources.

4

Why this approach?

Our experience shows that working through schools helps us to deliver more effective and contextually relevant support. It also ensures that all parties involved - schools, families, and support services - are aligned in their goals and actions.
