Contract: Fixed Term, MPS 1-6

Eggbuckland Vale Primary School, part of Connect Academy Trust, is looking to appoint a highly motivated, outstanding primary practitioner for September 2024. Eggbuckland Vale is a happy and inclusive two-form entry school in Plymouth with a very popular onsite nursery and a specialist provision for children who are deaf. Ofsted judged the school as Good in 2019.

We are looking for a class teacher who:

• has teaching experience (any phase to be considered from Early Years to Year 6)
• has high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
• can work effectively as part of a team
• is flexible, resilient and adapts quickly to change
• has the resolve and enthusiasm to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
• has a commitment to nurturing and valuing pupils
• has experience of teaching children with additional needs
• understands the importance of working in partnership with parents and carers
• has a thorough understanding and commitment to safeguarding all members of the school community
